NATICK – Michael Corless, 74, of Milford, passed away on December 8, 2021.

Michael was born on December 24, 1946 to James and Mary Corless in Malden.

After graduating from Cambridge Latin High School, he went on to study English at Boston College.

After completing a Master’s degree, he was hired as an English teacher at his alma mater, Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School, where he spent several decades teaching English, many of those years in the dropout prevention program that supported the educational needs of at-risk teens. Michael retired from teaching in 2001.

In 1971, he met Denise Olivari through an introduction by mutual friends, and they wed in 1974, going on to raise four children, Todd, Daniel, Emily and James.

In his spare time, he enjoyed reading literature and was an avid movie fan.

He is survived by his wife, Denise of Marlborough; his children, Todd and his wife Tanya of Jersey City, N.J., Daniel and his wife Tanya of Minneapolis, MN, Emily of Framingham, James and his wife Jennifer of Sterling; and his ten grandchildren, Tyler, Shayne, Marissa, Elin, Cash, Nolan, Kyle, Lucy, Harrison and Luke.

A graveside service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick, on Monday December 13, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.
