NATICK – Ann M. (Cotter) Doran, 93, passed away on December 3, 2021 at Sunrise of Wayland.

She was born on October 31, 1928 to Catherine (O’Sullivan) and John C. Cotter of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She attended Rosary Academy in Watertown and graduated from Natick High School.

She was married to her beloved high school sweetheart Richard P. Doran from 1950 until his death in 2011. They enjoyed travelling extensively, especially to Ireland where they visited relatives of her parents who had come from County Cork.

Ann had a deep faith and was a daily communicant at St. Patrick’s Church in Natick for most of her life. She served for several years as an extraordinary minister and brought communion to those unable to attend mass.

She is predeceased by her sister Sr. Deirdre Cotter, O.P. She is survived by her children, Michael F. Doran and his wife Grace of FL, Deirdre A. Doran and her spouse Jacqueline Dileo of NC, John P. Doran of Lowell; grandchildren Patrick Doran and his wife Katherine of NC, and Kristen Hughes and her husband Josh of NH; great-grandchildren Edward Doran, Sarah Doran and Abigail Hughes.

Funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s memory can be made to Hospice of Western and Central Massachusetts, 1325 Springfield St., Agawam MA 01030
