FRAMINGHAM – Daniel’s Table and Gratis Healthcare announced today, November 29, a partnership that will provide free medical and mental health services to those that are uninsured and underinsured and don’t have a doctor in our MetroWest community.
By removing the barriers to accessing healthcare and nutrition, this partnership will further strengthen the health and wellness of our MetroWest community.
Gratis Healthcare brings to this partnership clinicians and nurses across multiple specialties that will provide free healthcare for those people in the community that are uninsured, underinsured and do not have a doctor.

Gratis Healthcare will provide medical support for patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, internal medicine issues, dermatology issues, thyroid issues and mental health issues. Patients will be connected to the Massachusetts health care system and community resources when needed.
“By providing free basic healthcare, Gratis healthcare promotes overall community health by providing patients an option other than the ER. We offer a lifeline for those people that due to lack of insurance or healthcare provider, have nowhere else to go.” said David Bechtel of Gratis Healthcare.
“Daniel’s Table sees this as a huge win for the Metrowest community,” said David Blais, co-Founder of Daniel’s Table. “With the announcement of this partnership between Gratis Healthcare and Daniel’s Table we see our impact on the community growing dramatically. Our unique ability to provide nutritional food and having Gratis Healthcare offering free healthcare services in one location is amazing. This is what real collaboration can accomplish and we are proud to be able to host these combined services.”

Daniel’s Table was started in 2012 in response to the overwhelming needs of the community.
Daniel’s Table will continue to add services and programs to better serve the community as our funding allows.
“Our goal has always been to firmly focus on a future of nutritional food and healthcare equity for all,” said Blais.
Together they share a belief that income levels should not prohibit anyone from obtaining healthcare and nutritional equity. Access to quality healthcare and adequate nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege.
