WESTBOROUGH – A Framingham man was arrested early Saturday morning, on an operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol charge, after he collided with a Westborough police cruiser on Route 9.
About 2 a.m. today, November 20, Westborough Police Officers were conducting a traffic stop on Route 9 eastbound neat 88 Turnpike Road.
“While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, a second officer who was assisting heard and observed a dark colored Honda sedan quickly approaching with no signs of slowing down,” according to Westborough Police. “The Officer alerted his partner to the sedan now traveling toward the Officers. The sedan continued its path of travel subsequently colliding with an unoccupied Police Cruiser causing significant damage to both vehicles.”

Officers were able to escort all occupants to safety and assisted the operator of the Honda later identified as Alexander Ramos-Felipe of Framingham.
After an investigation, Ramos-Felipe was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without a license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and speeding.
