MARLBOROUGH – Mayor Arthur Vigeant announced the return of the annual Home for the Holidays, Tree Lighting on Union Common set for Friday, December 3

As tradition goes, Mayor Vigeant will arrive with Santa Claus via fire engine to Union Common at 6 p.m., which will kick off the festivities.

“Each year the holiday spirit comes alive as our community gathers for the Home for the Holidays, Tree Lighting event on Union Common. This was one of a few beloved City traditions that we weren’t able to celebrate last year due to the pandemic. I am proud it is back and look forward to joining many of our residents to light up our beautiful common,” said Mayor Vigeant.

Santa will be handing out complimentary candy canes and be available for all children to take pictures with and to hear what they would like for Christmas.
