FRAMINGHAM – Jason B. Rousseau, 55, of Claremont, New Hampshire, formerly a longtime resident of Saxonville, died unexpectedly on November 5, 2021.

Jason was born and raised in Framingham. He was a graduate of Keefe Technical High School. He worked as a mechanic for Browning Ferris Industries. He also worked for the Parks and Recreation Department for the Town of Framingham, and was a partner at Brookside Tackle in Saxonville.

His love for the outdoors led him to VT where he worked for some time as a machinist and welder, finally settling in NH working as a machinist.

Jason’s love for fishing always seemed to have him living near the water, from Lake Champlain to the Connecticut River. He was a member of Bass Fishing Clubs and fished competitively.

Jason is survived by his father, James R. Rousseau of Framingham, his brother, Jeffrey A. & his wife Janet of Framingham, his sister, Judith L. McIntyre & her husband Mark of Southbridge, his nieces and nephews, Angelique, Monique, Philip and Colin, 6 great nieces and nephews, along with many aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Besides his mother, Janice L. (Kirkpatrick) Rousseau, Jason was predeceased by his nephew, Patrick.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jason’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Friday, November 19 from 4 – 7 p.m.

His funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday morning in Edwards Church, 39 Edwards St. Framingham, at 10 o’clock (Masks required). Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery.
