FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High senior Laura Dube won the Division 1 State swimming & diving title in the individual medley today, November 13, at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley.

Dube finished the event in 2:09.98 seconds.

Andover’s Claire Neilly was second in 2:10.07 minutes.

She set a new Framingham High record by almost 2 seconds, too.

Dube also finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke at the state meet tonight.

Brookline’s Hannah Lee won the event in 1:05.09 seconds. Isabela Teixeira from Acton-Boxboro finished second in 1:07.01 minutes and Dube was third in 1:08.19 minutes.

Earlier this month, Dube won the sectional title for the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.48 minutes.

She is committed to swim for the Black Bears of the University of Maine.
