FRAMINGHAM – Nathan L. Kaitz, 69, of Framingham, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021.

He was a kind and loving husband to his wife of 39 years, Sally I. Kaitz of Framingham and a devoted and proud father of his two sons and significant others, Robert Kaitz and Christina Kaitz of Jamaica Plain, and Joshua Kaitz and Keren Zhang of Kirkland, Washington. Nathan leaves behind one brother, Richard Kaitz of Boston, and his significant other, Judy Close, and one sister, Nita Kaitz Reguer of Tel Aviv, Israel, and he was predeceased by his sister Brenda Kaitz and sister-in-law Erica Cole Kaitz. He had many beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and friends in the community.

Nathan spent his career as a labor and employment attorney for over 40 years at Morgan, Brown & Joy in Boston, Massachusetts.

In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf, basketball, going on long walks, playing poker with friends and family, and sitting on the couch to watch the Boston sports teams, sometimes even going so far as to loudly express his displeasure with Red Sox relief pitchers.

He loved the simple pleasures of life, being with friends and family, joking around, and enjoying hot dogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He was an active member of the local community, including as past president of the Board of Directors of Camp Yavneh, and will be missed by his wide net of dear friends, colleagues, and family.

Services were at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward Street, Newton on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 1 at 1 p.m.

Interment in Wayland.

Shiva will be at the family home, in Framingham, following the burial until the completion of Minyan. Continuing Friday from 11am – 2pm, Saturday 6pm–9pm, Sunday 12pm–3pm and 5pm–8pm, and Monday 12pm– 3pm. All visitors must be vaccinated.
