ASHLAND – MassBay Community College associate degree nursing (ADN) students will assist the Town of Ashland in administering COVID-19 vaccinations at a vaccine clinic for 5-11 years olds tonight, Wednesday, November 10 at Ashland High School. 

Pre-registration was required for children to receive one of the 600 available vaccines.

All of the clinic’s appointments were filled in 45 minutes after opening its registration to the public.

Professionals and volunteers who will be onsite administering vaccines include school nurses from the Towns of Ashland and Holliston along and their respective boards of health, as well as two faculty members and six students from MassBay.

Several comfort dogs also will be present to welcome the children.
