Thank goodness our school committee members and superintendent are all OK.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s a miracle.

The fact that they are all still safe after attending a huge superspreader event is almost unbelievable.  No one was more shocked than me when I saw all those photos from the school committee and superintendent conference in Hyannis (#mascmass21) and I didn’t see anyone following mask guidelines.

Oh, with the exception of one virtue-signaling selfie by the chairman.  And for some reason Framingham School Committee Member Tiffany Maskell took all her photos down.  Weird.

Wow, all those people in an enclosed space?  Without masks!

School committee members were having steak and shrimp dinners, giving out awards, and it really scared me!  It was terrifying!

They were indoors.

They sat shoulder to shoulder.

Many of them didn’t look to be very fit.

Yet, there they were inside, day after day, having conversations, laughing, hugging, smiling with each other, all the things that kids are not allowed to do in school, they were doing.

Kids at school are not allowed to eat together, for safety.

Kids at school are not allowed to take their masks off, ever, for safety.

Yet, school committee members and the superintendent were able to eat together, enjoy each other’s company without masks, and they are still in charge.  Thank goodness.  What would we do without them?

Sincerely,

Daniel Napierski

Framingham
