STOW—State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Acting Massachusetts Fire Academy (MFA) Director Maribel Fournier will present certificates of completion to 35 graduates of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy at separate ceremonies in Stow and Bridgewater next week.

The 22 recruits of MFA Class #296 will graduate at the Stow campus and represent the fire departments of Billerica, Blackstone, Devens, Everett, Foxborough, Lincoln, Lowell, Natick, Plainville, Upton, Winthrop, and Woburn.

Ceremony is Monday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at 1 State Road in Stow.

Thirteen recruits of MFA Class #BW14 will graduate at the Bridgewater campus and represent the fire departments of Abington, Cohasset, Hull, Hyannis, Norwood, and Westport will also graduate on Monday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.

The ceremonies will be posted to the Department of Fire Services’ YouTube channel following their conclusions.

The MFA, which marked its 50th anniversary earlier this year, provides recruit and in-service training at three separate campuses and has graduated nearly 14,000 recruit, call, and volunteer firefighters in 426 classes.
