FRAMINGHAM – A driver was able to escape a crash without injuries, after his vehicle went off an embankment and into a Framingham stream earlier this morning, November 8.
Framingham Fire Engine 3 and ambulance responded at about 9:45 a.m. to 510 Union Avenue for a crash.
The vehicle was in the parking lot, went off the embankment and partially into a stream, said Framingham Assistant Fire Chief John Schultz.
The “driver was able to self-extricate. No other passengers were in the vehicle,” sid the Assistance Fire Chief.
The “driver denied having any injuries and did not want to be checked out or transported to the hospital,” said Chief Schultz.
“The owner was bringing the vehicle into the shop for repairs and the breaks failed,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
Henry’s Towing removed the vehicle from the stream.
