MILTON – The Framingham State women’s basketball team opened up their 2021-22 season with an 84-41 win over Curry in non-conference action Friday evening in Milton.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Rams scored the first point of the game on a Camille Desrochers (Westford.) free throw, the Colonels answered with two free throws of their own which then prompted an 18-0 run for the Rams and they would never look back.
- Flannery O’Connor led the Rams with 20 points on 10-of-11 from the floor and a team best 11 rebounds.
- Katty Haidul also registered a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

- Krysta Padellaro and Gwendolyn Carpenter added 12 and 11 points apiece and Desrochers added a game-high six assists.
- Kaitlynn Smith led Curry with 13 points and Kathryn Dunn chipped in 11 points. Lily Gray put up 8 points with a team-high 8 rebounds.
UP NEXT: The Rams return to the court next Wednesday when they travel to Wellesley College for non-conference action starting at 7 p.m.
