FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man on Sunday afternoon, October 31 on multiple charges.

While officers were working in the area of 61 Hollis Street, a man began yelling at them and then challenged an officer to a fight, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens

During this encounter the man “pulled a torch-style lighter out and pointed it directly in the officer’s face,” said Lt. Mickens.

Police arrested Derek Belloli, 37, of 3 Merchant Road of Framingham,

He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault & battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
