NEEDHAM – The Framingham High boys varsity soccer team lost 1-0 to Needham High on Sunday afternoon, October 31, on the road.

It was a great game between two evenly matched teams, said Coach Jon Wood.

The Rockets capitalized on a chance in the first half and stifled the Flyers the rest of the way, said Coach Wood.

“Framingham created numerous excellent chances to score but just could not finish,” said Coach Wood.

Framingham is awaiting its playoff pairing in the MIAA tournament.

“Standouts today we’re sophomore forward Ryan Viana and senior midfielder Niko Tsiantoulis. defensively, junior Dhiego Miranda and senior captain John Halpin did all they could to keep the Needham attack at bay,” said Coach Wood.
