FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a shooting that happened overnight on Hayes Street in the Coburnville section of the City.

Initial reports overnight have a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound near Highland & Hayes Street.

Framingham Deputy Police Chief Sean Riley did confirm that police are investigating an incident.

The Deputy Chief said he could not release any other details this morning, and that a press release or press conference is likely to happen later today with the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.
