FRAMINGHAM – Former Calder Memorial Trophy winner Andrew Raycroft was at Loring Arena this morning helping the newest hockey players.

The former Canadian professional ice hockey goalie, who played for the Boston Bruins, is now a studio analyst for the Boston Bruins broadcasts on NESN and a host Breaking The Ice, a hockey podcast. He played in the NHL from 2000 to 2014, with several teams.

Raycroft was at Loring Arena as part of the Bruins Academy Learn To Play Hockey program.

Program registration includes four weeks of lessons plus a full set of equipment to keep.

Raycroft also participated in the program back in 2019.

This current session is sold out with 50 boys and girls.

Framingham Youth Hockey is currently registering kids for Session #2, which starts in November.
