FRAMINGHAM – The sold-out the Pumpkins in the Park at Cushing Memorial Park is being postponed to Sunday from Saturday due to the weather.

“Saturday’s weather is not looking very friendly. According to the National Weather Service, the forecast is calling for a 99% chance of showers and 53 degrees at the start of our event. With that said, we have decided to move the event to Sunday, October 31  (Same location and same time you registered for on Saturday),” announced Framingham Parks & Recreation today.

Sunday’s event will be held rain, sleet, snow, or shine,” said Framingham Parks & Recreation.

The event is sold out and no on-site registration will be available.

It is an outdoor event with more than 100 kids registered in specific time slots.

“As each group only has 1 hour to complete the scheduled activities, we ask that upon arriving at the Cushing Building in Cushing Memorial Park (near the playground), please make your way to the registration table.  After checking in, you will be directed to our pumpkin patch where each participant can choose a pumpkin to paint!  There will be an additional craft and a hayride (weather permitting) to do before heading over to visit with our wonderful Police Officers, Fire Fighters & Librarians at the Bookmobile on your way back to your vehicles,” wrote Parks & Recreation today.
