FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a male teenager on a charge of assault & battery yesterday evening.

According to police, a teen, 15, was “riding on a moped” in downtown Framingham.

“As he drove by an individual, he smacked them,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Police officers located the teen around 9:55 p.m., shortly after the assault, on “railroad property” and placed him under arrest, said Lt. Mickens.

The teen was arrested at Waushakum Street and charged with assault and battery (hands), trespassing on railroad property and disorderly conduct.
