Traffic Alert: Gas Main Work on Berry, Edgell, Edmands, & Union in Framingham This Week

FRAMINGHAM – The following is a list of road construction and utility work in the City of Framingham the week of October 24.

Work is weather permitting, and rain is forecasted most of this week.

Berry Street Gas Main Replacement: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Berry Street. Expect minor delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. 

Edgell Road and Edmands Road Gas Main Replacement: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Edgell Road and Edmands Road. Expect moderate to significant delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern or road closures and a detour will be in effect.

Grove Street Roadway and Drainage Improvements (Between Edmands Road and Winch Street): Punch-list items. Expect minor to moderate delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic as needed. 

Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Install underground electric and cable services. Relocate aerial fire alarm cable. Expect minor delays. A lane shift and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect at times. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.


Union Avenue Gas Main Replacement: Eversource gas will replace gas main on Union Avenue between Prescott Street and Union Ave. Terrace. Expect minimal to moderate delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.
