FRAMINGHAM – At the beginning of our COVID crisis Mayor Spicer contacted the Framingham Public Library to form a team to call Framingham’s senior citizens to do wellness checks and to ask what they needed. At her direction, this team called 7,600 seniors.

I know from my own experience as a caller on the team I helped people find food, helped homebound people get vaccinated, and helped people with no transportation get rides to medical appointments.

Working on this team gave me an appreciation for Mayor Spicer’s concern and compassion for the many seniors who needed help in our City.
