LETTER: Framingham Can Not Afford 4 More Years of Spicer

FRAMINGHAM – We voted for Ms. Spicer, we had great hopes but have regretted it from the day she ordered herself a brand new fully-loaded vehicle right off the bat. It was downhill from there.

The we read about any & every trip she could go on she did on the taxpayer dime until the pandemic.

I tried to speak to her about a concern at one of her community hours (and followed up with emails) and if pursued could save the City some money and was fluffed off and had my concern treated as irrelevant. I went to our City Councilor and he tried as well to no avail.

She has taken credit for things she did not do, has been heard speaking unprofessionally about fellow public representatives more than once, has not reappointed people to committees that did not agree with her, has hired people at salaries higher than they should have been and has been the reason we have had some very good people leave, just to name a few reasons.

I did not know Mr. Sisitsky but have spoken to several times recently about concerns, he has been polite, professional, knowledgeable engaged and concerned.

Sadly, we gave Ms. Spicer a chance but now feel we cannot afford 4 more years of her as Mayor, she has turned out to be a Mayor for Ms. Spicer not the People’s Mayor at all.

Please do not give her 4 more years we honestly cannot afford it.
