FRAMINGHAM – The first outdoor performance at the new outdoor amphitheater at Fuller Middle School will be Wiley and the Hairy Man by the Framingham High School Drama Company.
The award-winning drama company will stage two shows the weekend of October 23-24.
“Set deep within the mysterious Tombigbee Swamp, Wiley and the Hairy Man centers around a young fatherless boy, his conjure-woman mother, his faithful dog, and the Hairy Man who haunts Wiley’s days and dreams.”
Adapted from a southern folktale, Wiley must outsmart the Hairy Man and in doing so he realizes that he has the power in himself to face whatever fears may haunt him.
Performance of Wiley and the Hairy Man are Saturday, October 23 at 3 p.m. and Sunday, October 24 at 10:30 a.m.
Free Wiley tickets are available at showtix4u.com. Suggestion donation is of $5, $10, and $15 a ticket is encouraged.
Tyler Garofalo has the leading role of Wiley with Miles Bishop as the Hairy man.
Nyosha Homicil is mammy with Ailadis Hernandez as dog.
