Police: Man With Knife Charged With Assault & Battery at 3 a.m.

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police were called to Evergreen Street early Thursday morning, and ended up arresting a man after an assault with a knife.

Police arrested at 2:57 a.m. Steven Ramos Muriel, 39, of 40 Evergreen Street. He was charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.

The victim suffered a minor injury. He did not need to go to the hospital.

“The suspect and victim live in separate rooms at the same location,” said Framingham Police Lt. Robert Sibilio. “The report indicates they know each other from that living arrangement.”

Muriel had a pocket knife.
