FRAMINGHAM – Yesterday, October 13, Framingham Police arrested a Sherborn woman in downtown Framingham in connection with an assault & battery that happened on Tuesday.

Police arrested at 3:36 p.m. at the 430 Waverley Street Julie Simpson, 37, of 109 South main Street in Sherborn.

She was charged with assault & battery on a person 60+/disabled with injury and witness intimidation.

“This incident occurred Tuesday Hollis/Irving but it was not reported until yesterday,” said the Framingham Police spokesperson.

“The reporting party was pushed into a fence by Simpson and suffered minor injuries,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“Simpson also made threats towards the victim,” a 66-year old woman,” said Lt. Mikens.

“It appears the parties involved are known to each other,” said Lt. Mickens.
