FRAMINGHAM – On Sunday afternoon on Route 126, Framingham Police Officers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop, and the driver of the vehicle did not pull over. When officers finally stopped the vehicle, they found the driver to be “under the influence of alcohol” and “in possession of a small bag of cocaine,” according to Framingham Police Lt. rachel Mickens.

Officer arrested Jehnny Carvalha Santos, 35, of 17 Frederick Street in Framingham.

During their investigation officers learned Santos was driving a vehicle involved in a hit & run crash on Cedar Street.

Police arrested Santos at 1:13 p.m. at 149 Concord Street. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle after license suspended, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, failure to stay within marked lanes, operating a motor vehicle after registration suspended/revoked, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, and possession of a Class B drug (Cocaine.)
