FRAMINGHAM – The Flyers boys varsity soccer team battled to a scoreless tie with Brookline High at Skyline Field in Brookline.

“It was a defensive game between two of the top teams in Eastern Massachusetts,” said Coach Jon Wood.

“Both teams created quality chances but both goalies stood firm and earned shutouts for their respective sides,” said Coach Wood.

Junior goalie Tyler Ingham earned his fifth shutout on the year.

Junior midfielder Brian Bueno played a nice physical game and ignited our offense. Junior Gilberto Morales and senior Liam Gilbert controlled the middle of the field both offensively and defensively, said Coach Wood.

The Flyers are now 7-1-3, under head coach Dan Svery.

Next up for the Flyers is the 25th Annual George Wheeler Cup against Bay State Conference rival Natick High at 5 p.m.
