FRAMINGHAM – Patricia M. (Meehan) Parnell, 76, of Framingham, passed away Thursday October 7, 2021.

Daughter of the late Dorothy (Cronin) and Francis Meehan. Beloved wife of John V. Parnell of Framingham.

Devoted mother of Elizabeth Eagle and her husband John of Sweedsboro NJ, Monica Erickson and her husband Kris of Natick, and Andrea Freeman and her husband Jerry of Atlanta GA. Sister of Michael Meehan and his wife Diane of Worthington, Sheila Lane and her husband John of Falmouth, Moira Cranshaw and her husband Russell of Sunderland, and the late Lawrence Meehan. Proud grandmother of Taylor, Carly, Ryan, Jordan, and Jay.

Patricia grew up in Newtonville, where she went to Newton North High School and then went on to UMass Amherst and graduated in 1967.

It was at UMass where she met her husband, John, and they were married for nearly 55 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Patricia was a dedicated member of her community where she spent countless hours volunteering, mentoring, and organizing. She channeled her creativity through her passion for knitting, quilting and a bold sense of style.  Her generosity, creativity and love of family will be deeply missed.

Visiting in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street in Natick on Saturday October 16, 2021 beginning at 1 p.m., prior to the memorial service at 2 p.m.

Following services there will be a celebration of life at the Dolphin Restaurant, 12 Washington St., Natick.
