WEYMOUTH – Brooke Haarala’s hat trick gave Framingham High a road win over the Wildcats of Weymouth High Thursday, October 7.

The Flyers won 3-0.

Framingahm is now 4-3-3 on the season.

Lilly Vermilya earned her fifth shut out of the season, with the help of strong and consistent defense from Natalie Kirkpatrick, Ali Jones, Madi Jones, and Sophia Carney.

About 30 minutes into the first half, Madi Jones chest trapped the ball and she quickly launched a pass to Brooke Haarala, who drove through three defenders and riffled a shot to the bottom far left of the goal.

That goal ended up being the game winner, but Haarala scored twice more.

Haarala scored again about halfway into the second half off a direct kick from Ali Jones.

ten minutes later, Kasey Kopec was fouled at Weymouth’s 30-yard line. Haarala got her laces on the ball from a direct kick taken by Ali Jones and sunk it into the net for her hat tricks.

Framingham is back on the field on Tuesday, October 12.
