FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls soccer team won its third game of the season in a shutout victory over the Wamps of Braintree High at home today, October 5.

The Flyers won 3-0.

Framingham High girls soccer is now 3-3-3.

This was goalie Lilly Vermilya’s fourth shut out.

Framingham scored all three of its goals in the second half.

First goal came from a penalty shot taken by Kasey Kopaz after Brooke Haarala was tripped in the box.

Second goal came four minutes later, when Ally Jones booted a well-placed corner kick where Kopaz perfectly timed her jump and headed in a magnificent goal.

With 20 minutes left in the game, Summer Haarala drove down the right side of the field after receiving a leading pass from Gabby Arpino. Bolting past defenders she launched a rocket scoring from a very difficult angle.
