FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating an assault, involving a baseball bat, that took place on Thursday, September 30, near Learned Pond.

Police officers were called to Robertson Road around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The reporting party attempted to retrieve money from an acquaintance, explained Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“During the encounter they were chased by an individual that was there with a baseball bat,” said Lt. Mickens.

There were no injuries, said Lt. Mickens.

No arrests have been made, said Lt. Mickens.

The incident remains under investigation, said the police spokesperson.
