FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys soccer program is ranked 5th in Division 1 in the MIAA power rankings released today.

Undefeated Harbormen of Hingham High are ranked first at 7-0 with an overall rating of 3.9925.

Framingham is ranked 5th at 5-0-1 with a power ranking of 2.9589.

The Flyers are actually 6-0-2 under head coach Dan Avery, having tied Saint John’s of Shrewbury over the weekend.

Arlington High is ranked second, with Bay State Conference rival Newton North third.

Marshfield High is 4th with another Bay State Conference opponent Brookline High 6th. Needham High another Conference foe is in the top 10 at ninth.

That makes four Bay State Conference teams in the top 10.

Next up for the Flyers is a road game against Braintree on Tuesday, October 5.
