FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School marching band performed for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, and Massachusetts Senate President karen Spilka on Wednesday as part of the groundbreaking ceremony for the new MassBay Community College building in Framingham.

The three political leaders also took a few minutes to take a photo with the Framingham High marching band, who will participate in their competition of the season on Saturday, October 2 at 3:30 p.m. in North Andover.

This year’s theme is a Peter Pan.

The Flyers marching band is under the direction of Andy Jasinski.

The New England Scholastic Band Association Championships are scheduled for October 31 at Reading Memorial High School.
