WELLESLEY – The Framingham High girls soccer team lost a close game to Wellesley high, on the road, on Wednesday, September 29.

The Flyers were down 0-2, when at the 35 minute mark Summer Haarala scored the Flyers first goal, with an assist from Paige Spodick, who received a long chip from Gabby Aprino.

Down 4-1 with 7 minutes left in the game, Brooke Haarala scored after battling through defense on a chip from Aprino.

With three minutes left in the game, Brooke Haarala struck a rocket into the back of the net after receiving a long ball from Aprino.

Unfortunately, the Flyer couldn’t tie the the game before the whistle blew, and the Raiders won 4-3.

The Flyers will play Walpole High today, September 30.
