FRAMINGHAM – RIA Inc. will hold its inaugural gala on Saturday, October 2 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

The Framingham-based organization’s mission is to “to stand with and support people with experience in the commercial sex trade, and its associated exploitation, trafficking and prostitution, by providing a range of community-based services.”

It was founded in 2012. It’s executive director is Heather Wightman.

Keynote speakers for the Saturday event are City of Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer and Katherine Chon, co-founder of the Polaris Project.
