FRAMINGHAM – Ten local artists will set up their easels on and around the Framingham Centre Common to paint en plein air

Watch the artists at work and learn about the history of this iconic New England setting either on a self-guided or docent-led tour.

The docent tours will begin every half hour from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

The free event is from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Framingham Centre Common.

There will be a family scavenger hunt too.

Artists’ paintings will be available for purchase at an online auction to benefit the Framingham History Center. This limited time auction will run from October 5-9.

The event is hosted by Framingham History Center together with the Danforth and Framingham Centre Common Cultural District.
