FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police received a call for a motor vehicle being broken into at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 26.

When officers arrived, they saw a man “located inside of the vehicle,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The man “provided a false name to police. When properly identified he was found to have a warrant out of Framingham (attempt to commit a crime) and Leominster,” said Lt. Mickens.

Police arrested at 40 Frederick Street Michael Atwood, 44, with no known address.

He was charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle, providing a false name to police, breaking & entering of a vehicle at night (felony) and outstanding warrants.
