FRAMINGHAM – Police received a call of a man knocking on door in the Mt. Wayte neighborhood on Friday afternoon, September 24.

Framingham Police Officers encountered the man and “during the investigation found him to be in possession of a double edge dagger.”

Police arrested at 3:02 p.m. at 358 Mt. Wayte Avenue Jose Luis Valentin, 33, of 47 Berry Street of Framingham.

“While placing Valentin under arrest he kicked the door of the police cruiser into an officer,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens. “The officer suffered minor injuries.”

Valentin was charged with carrying & possession of a dangerous weapon (dagger) and assault and battery on a police officers with a dangerous weapon.
