FRAMINGHAM – The following is a list of construction projects in the City of Framingham for the week of September 26, 2021.

The work is City of Framingham and utility projects.

All work is weather permitting.

Arlington Street Water and Sewer Improvements – Design Work: A City hired contractor will excavate to confirm utility locations for design work on Summit and Alexander Streets. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Berry Street Gas Main Replacement: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Berry Street. Expect minor delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Carlson Road Water, Sewer, and Roadway Improvements: Water main installation. Expect minor to moderate delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Carlson Road and Glen Street. Also, at times, a one-way alternating traffic pattern will also be in effect on Beaver Street and Kendall Avenue.

Edgell Road and Edmands Road Gas Main Replacement
: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Edgell Road and Edmands Road. Expect moderate delays. Lane shifts and/or a one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Grove Street Roadway and Drainage Improvements (Between Edmands Road and Winch Street): Drainage work continues. Expect moderate delays. A lane shift, detour, and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Underground and aerial fire alarm cable work continues. Culvert work continues. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic as needed.

Roadway Maintenance – Crack Sealing:
A specialized contractor will crack seal the following roads: Franklin Street, Dudley Road, Potter Road, and Brook Street. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
