ASHLAND – Robert Edward Demma, Sr., 84, of Ashland, died Monday September 20, 2021 at St Patrick Manor in Framingham.

He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Barnicle) Demma sharing 59 years of marriage. A resident of Ashland for 60 years.

He was born in Natick, the son of the late Antonio and Frances (Vale) Demma.

He is survived by her three children, Robert E. Demma Jr. of Webster, Lynne M. Culcasi and her husband Peter Jr. of Ashland, Ken A. Demma and his wife Natalie of Ashland, seven grandchildren; Kristin, Nicole, Troy Culcasi, Justin, Tanner, Zach, and Ryan Demma. His sister Florence Demma of Milford; and many nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed being with his family and getting together to play cards. He loved to make people laugh with his dry jokes and always knew to bring out his tambourine during family get together’s. He also loved camping at Scusset beach Cape Cod, yard sailing, working out in his garden, playing the drums and belonging to many country and western bands throughout the Metrowest area.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday September 25th in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street in Natick at 11:30 a.m.

Visiting starting at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick.
