FRAMINGHAM – The Keefe Technical High School cross-country team hosted Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School out of Charlton yesterday, September 21.

Keefe Tech freshman Aedan Weller won the 3.1-mile course, but the Broncos lost the meet.

The Bay Path Minutemen won 22-35.

The win was Weller’s first as a Bronco. His time was 23.59 minutes.

Bay Path runners finished second, third, fourth, fifth, and eighth to win the meet.

Sophomore Grace Arena was the third female across the finish line. Her time for the Broncos was 28.04 minutes.

Keefe junior Liam Regan was the second Bronoc across the finish line in 25.39 minutes. He finished 6th overall.

Freshman Connor Bakstran was third for the Keefe Tech in 25:42 minutes. He was 7th overall.

Finishing 10th overall was Broncos captain Michael Najarian in 26:54 minutes.

Freshman Zach Hershmann was 11th overall in 28:10 minutes.

Senior Bruno Barbosa was 12th overall in 28:19 minutes.

Keefe Tech will host AMSA from Marlborough on Tuesday, September 28 at 3:30 p.m.

The team is now 1-2 this season.

Some of the runners will participate in the MSTCA Frank Kelley Invitational in Wrentham this weekend.
