FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys varsity soccer team defeated Brookline 1-0 in a Bay State Conference matchup at home today, September 21.

“It was a back and forth game between two excellent teams,” said Coach Jon Wood.

“The Framingham goal was scored late in the second half when Kaio Viegas took a free kick and Ben Dionisio knocked in the rebound,” said Coach Wood.

“Framingham had many excellent chances throughout the game,” said the coach.

Junior goalie Tyler Ingham earned his second shutout of the season. 

“Junior captain Ben Sharon and senior captain John Halpin anchored a great defensive effort,” said Coach Wood.

The Flyers are now 4-0-1, under head coach Dan Avery.

The Flyers host Natick High on September 24 at 3:45 p.m.
