1 The Gateway Camera Club presents From Capture to Print: The Art of Black and White Photography by Lewis Katz on tonight from 7 to 9:30 p.m. via Zoom.

2. Framingham Public School events:

  • Potter Road Elementary will hold a curriculum night from grades K-2 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Dunning Elementary will hold curriculum night for grades 3-5 at 6:30 p.m.
  • The Framingham High Asian Student Association will hold its first meeting of the year today after school.


3. CITY OF FRAMINGHAM MEETINGS today:

  • There is no City Council meeting tonight. City Council will meet on Thursday, September 23 at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room and on Zoom in a hybrid format
  • Framingham Retirement Board at 10 a.m.
  • Framingham Sustainability Committee meets at 7 p.m. on Zoom
  • Framingham Board of Health meets at 7 p.m. on Zoom

4. According to the Mayor’s publicly posted schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer will hold a community hour – virtually – at 5 p.m. with the Framingham Library Director Lena Kilburn. The event was announced yesterday after 3 p.m. by the Spicer administration. The public may attend.

5. SPORTS

FLYERS in action:

  • Girls volleyball home opener at 4:30 p.m. at Framingham High. Spectators may attend but must wear a mask.
  • Girls varsity soccer is on the road today for a game against Brookline High at 3:45 p.m.
  • Framingham High girls swim & dive hosts Needham at 4 p.m. at Keefe Tech’s pool
  • Framingham High boys soccer hosts Brookline High at 4:30 p.m. at high school
