FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Parks & Recreation Department and the Framingham Police Athletic League (PAL) hosted a basketball tournament at Bowditch Field yesterday, September 19.

The tournament included both high school and adult teams.

The PAL Basketball Program promotes positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.  Members of the law enforcement community along with experienced coaches mentor the youth to realize their full potential as productive members of society.

The PAL program meets  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at the basketball courts at Mary Dennison Park. It is free and also all are welcome to join. 

The program will move inside to Harmony Grove Elementary School once the weather does not allow for outdoor play.  Visit www.FraminghamRec.com for more information
