FRAMINGHAM – A case that began in March with a “single gram buy,” developed into a “multi-agency investigation” that results in taken drug, estimated at $350,000, off the streets, according to Framingham Police.

The Metrowest Drug Task Force, RI State Police, DEA, Mass State Police, and Fitchburg Police took part in executing a coordinated series of arrests and search warrants in three separate cities.

That investigation “ultimately resulted in the arrest of an individual who has been supplying dealers in the MetroWest area” for more than a decade, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. rachel Mickens on Tuesday, September 21.

The search warrants were executed in Providence, RI and Fitchburg, said Lt. Mickens.

Framingham Police posted on social media that law enforcement “seized 2 kilograms of Fentanyl and Heroin, more than ½ kilogram of cocaine, an indoor marijuana grow with 100 mature plants and seedlings and approximately $10,000.”

In all, drugs seized has a “street value of well over $350,000,” said Lt. Mickens.

Two men were arrested and charged with trafficking both Class A and B, said Framingham Police.

SOURCE has requested identification of those arrested and the booking photos.

Additional charges will be taken out in Middlesex County for both conspiracy and trafficking in Class A, said Framingham Police on Monday night.
