FRAMINGHAM – A light from our household is gone, our beloved kind and sweet mother,
Angelina “Angie” (Porretta) T. Ferrini, passed away peacefully at home on Friday September
17, 2021 at the age of 91.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Jenny (Morretti)
Porretta and was the wife of the late Frank A. Ferrini and mother of the late Janice A. Ferrini.

Angie was loved by everyone she knew. She always found the good in everyone and
was forever giving to those around her. She never put herself “first” and always wanted
happiness for those around her. Caring, loving and kind is how to describe our Mother. She
will be deeply missed by all of us.

Angie’s favorite past times were to have her family together cooking, laughing, telling
stories and spending time with everyone. She welcomed anyone that came to the door and
always offered nothing but kindness and generosity. She loved meeting her friends for coffee
everyday and going to dinner with the “girls”. She was an avid bowler and Bocci player and
loved playing Bocci at the Columbus Club with her friends and spent much time at the
Callahan Senior Center playing volleyball and keeping active. In her younger years, she
taught CCD at St. Tarcisius Church and sang in the choir. She also loved spending summers
by the ocean with her children and grandchildren.

As many knew Angie they could always count on a kind word and uplifting sentiment.
While she was a quiet soul her presence was always felt and welcomed. She found much
pleasure in offering friends and family a repurposed item, this could have been a pair of
shoes, a warm winter coat or a bag of children’s clothes, she did not want items ‘discarded or
wasted’ while knowing they could go to good use helping or making someone’s day.

A true giver of all things, primarily unconditional love. At home there was always an open
seat at the dinner table for anyone who needed a meal to join in for a family supper.
May her soul Rest In Peace and God keep her wrapped in His arms.

Angie is survived by her children Frank E. Ferrini and his wife Kathleen of Sandwich,
MA, Arlene Ferrini of Framingham, Diane P. Paolini of Framingham and David A. Ferrini
and his partner Barry Barton of Framingham. Grandchildren Christina, Maria, Jenna and
Katie Ferrini, Hayden and Ashley Paolini. She is survived by her youngest Brother Rocco
Porretta and his wife Carlene of Framingham.

She was the beloved sister of the late, Albert Poretta, Guiseppe Porretta, Anna M.
Bowen, Mary Skowron and Anthony Porretta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Wednesday, September
22, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road on Route 9 east in Framingham.

Burial will follow in the family lot at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
