NEWTON – The Framingham girls cross-country team lost to both Newton North and Needham high schools on the road today, September 17.

The Tigers of Newton North won 15-50.

The Flyers are still seeking their first win of the season.

Newton North senior Vivian Kane won the race in 19.20 minutes.

Framingham’s Emma Rothwell was the first Flyers across the finish line at 23.18 minutes. She was the 29th runners overall.

Flyer Chloe Mills finished second for Framingham. Her time was 24:04 minutes, for 34th overall.

Framingham freshman Briahanna Diaz finished third for the Flyers in 24.24 minutes.

Framingham junior Mia DeMore was fourth overall for the Flyers, and 42nd across the finish line in 24.45 minutes.

Junior Maya Aylesworth was 43rd overall and the fifth fastest Flyer on the outdoor 5,000-meter course in 24.50 minutes.

The Flyers will host Brookline & Braintree at its Farm Pond course on Wednesday, September 22.
