FRAMINGHAM – Mayoral candidates Yvonne Spicer and Charlie Sisitsky as well as City Council candidates on the November 2 ballot have been invited to participate in a Climate Action Forum on Friday night, September 24.

The hybrid event will be held at Plymouth Church at 87 Edgell Road in Framingham.

There will be an in-person only meet & greet from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by an in-person and virtual forum from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

All Mayoral and City Council candidates have confirmed their participation, according to the organizers.

Topics will include climate action, rail trails, plastics and waste reduction, environmental justice, municipal sustainability, electric vehicles, and more. There will be time for questions from the audience.

The event will be held virtually as well as in-person in the sanctuary of the Plymouth Church.  Masks will be required except when the candidates are speaking
