FRAMINGHAM – Police arrested a Marlborough man on drug charges at the Arlington & Gordon Street playground on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to the Framingham playground about suspicious activity around noon on September 11.

Police officers found a man “asleep on the bench” said the Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“When officers were able to wake him up they conducted a brief investigation and located a couple of small bags containing a substance that appeared to be heroin,” said Lt. Mickens.

Police arrested Christopher M. Harper, 37, of 36 Ethel Street in Marlborough. He was charged with possession of a Class A drug.
