FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man on multiple charged after being called to DSW Shoes at Shoppers World for a shoplifter.

Police arrested Jake Pizette, 28, of 3 Merchant Road of Framingham at 3:27 p.m. on September 8.

He was charged with larceny/shoplifting by apsportation, resisting arrest, larceny-shoplifting by apsportation $250+, two counts.

When police arrived at Shoppers World, Pizette was located nearby with a carriage containing stolen items and ran from the officer, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

He was stopped by responding officers and placed under arrest, said Lt. Mickens.

“The merchandise recovered was from DSW, as well as REI and Nordstrom Rack totaling approximately $1,100,” said Lt. Mickens.
